No, 49.88% is not equivalent to 50% aggregate. So, you are not eligible to apply for those posts for which minimum required aggregate is 50%.

No, one cannot apply for jobs or any higher academic degree with 49.88% marks in aggregate in graduation degree if there is requirement of at least 50% marks in aggregate in graduation degree as while deciding eligibility of a candidate there is no provision of rounding off to nearest whole number.

The post which requires 50% marks may or may not accept the 49.88% mark. It depends for which organization and sector you are applying. There is a lot of difference between 49.88% and 50%, a percent cannot be rounded up at anytime. It is what it is and some organization strictly adhere this policy.

Having completed your graduation degree with 49.88% marks you are not eligible to apply for job applications for which the minimum marks required in graduation degree is 50% for your category as rounding off to nearest whole number is not allowed in case of deciding eligibility of a candidate for the particular post.
So, to be eligible for the same job application you will have to improve your marks in the graduation degree through improvement examination. |
