As per your academic qualification, you may appear for any of the following examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission:

Civil Service Examination
Engineering Service Examination
Indian Forest Service Examination
Combined Defense Service Examination
Central Police Force Examination

For each of the examination mentioned above, candidate needs to be within specific age limit. Candidates within the age limit of 21-30 years may write Civil Service Examination, Engineering Service Examination and Indian Forest Service Examination. For Combined Defense Service Examination, one needs to be within the following age limit:
  • For Indian Army: 19-24 years
  • For Indian Air Force: 19-23 years
  • For Indian Navy: 19-22 years
Candidates within the age limit of 20-25 years are only considered eligible for Central Police Force Examination. For further information, refer to the official website of Union Public Service Commission.

Dear Friend,

* UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission.

* UPSC Conducts examinations for the recruitment of class - I officers.

* The various Examinations conducted by UPSC as per your educational qualifications are mentioned below :

1) Combined Defense Services Examination

2) Civil Services Examination

Now , the eligibility criteria for the above mentioned examinations are almost same such as :

* You must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university.

* You must have Indian Citizenship.

* Your age should lie in between 21-30 years except CDS exam for which you must have the age between 18-24 years.

So , i suggest you to opt for the one in which you have the most interest.
