hello sir i want to appear NDA 1 examination how to apply this form i m in class 11 i get marks in class 10 cgpa 8.6

For your kind information, you are not eligible to apply for NDA Exam being a candidate of 11th class since the minimum eligibility criteria that a candidate need to have in order to be eligible for NDA Exam is by completion of 12th class from a recognized board.

In addition, one should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

Every year this NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

Candidates are going to be placed into following defence services
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing by successfully cracking this exam.

The application forms for NDA Exam will be available in the designated post offices all over India. As and when the notification for NDA Exam is announced, try to get application forms and submit with in the last date.

Have good prepartion to the exam and crack the exam.

Then you have to complete your 12th first..

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in every year to hire students for defense..

As you are in 11th standard now then wright now you are not eligible for NDA1 exam.

When you will be in 12th standard then you can apply for NDA exam..

So, don't worry, just try to concentrate your study wright now..

Union Public service commision conducts this exam . National Defence Academy consists of three wings of joint training: army, navy and air force. Getting into NDA is considered highly prestigious. Admissions are conducted twice a year. At first a written test will be there which will be followed by interview rounds and also group tasks and medical. At present there are about 350 vacancies and every year number of candidates applying is increasing. This makes it more difficult for the candidates to clear the exam

Eligibility Criteria for NDA

The NDA exam takes place twice in the months of April and August..

In order to appear for NDA.. a candidate need to fulfill the following minimum criterion :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out from a recognized board..(with PCM if you want to join Air Force or Navy)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years..

Since you are not even in 12th hence..you are not eligible for appearing for the NDA Exams..

You can appear for the NDA exams in the year in which you are going to appear for your 12th boards..

The written test shall test you in the following areas :-

1) General Knwoledge
2) Maths
3) English

Then you need to clear the interview and then the medical examination..

Recently(2011) there was an article in the newspaper stating that it is now possible to write the NDA exam in class 11...what is that about?

Sorry, you cannot join NDA being a student of 11th class.
To apply for NDA, the candidate must have passed the 12th class examination.
The eligibility criteria for NDA is given below :
1. The candidate must be an Indian.
2. The candidate must have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate with physics, chemistry and mathematics.
3. The age limit is 16.5 to 19.5 years.

Dear friend your are not eligible to apply for NDA because 12th is the minimum qualification
age limit is 16.5 yrs to 19yrs
syllabus
is general knowledge, India's history, a bit of army history, current affairs, CBSE 12th Std portion, analytically reasoning etc

notification in the month of march and October
applications to be reached by April and October/ November

exam is conducted by UPSC

i am currently studying class 11 with an age of 16.5 years.am i eligible for nda written exam of april 2013

is there any way ,other than nda ,to join armed forces just after 12th ??

when will be forms avilable for nda1 for year 2014-15
