Dear friend,

After MASTER degree , you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university.

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.


The NET exam date is18-12-2011 But still UGC have not published application brochure .

The application details will be published in 26th September,2011.So you have to prepare well for NET exam.

There are one declaration is announced UGC . No negative Marking in Paper-I and Paper -II exam.

Online form will available after 26th September.

Date of Close of Online Submission: 13-09-2011

Last Date of Receipt of Duly Completed Hard Copy of Online Application Forms: 16-09-2011

iThe National Eligibility Test (NET),conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) to determine eligibility for
lectureship and
for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) .

The Test is conducted twice(months of June and December) in a year in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science like SET(State Eligibility Test).

Eligibility:
1:You should have Master Degree from a recognized University and Colleges,you can also apply for the exam if your Result Awaited category, if you are appearing or has appeared in your final year of M.Sc. or equivalent degree examination.

2:You have to secure minimum 55% of marks in your Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination
3:There is no age limit for applying for lectureship.

4:If you apply for Junior Research Fellowship ,your age should not more than 28 years.

only the students who are completed are persuing final year post graduate course are eligible fot this exam

you have to fill the application through online only.

you have to download challan form of sbi bank from ugcnetonline.ac.in site

for oc is 450 and obc is 250rs and sc/st is Rs 110

after pay the challan form you have to visit the site ugcnetonline.

you have to register first and then login to apply

im a B.Tech graduate in electronics and communicaton engg.(73%) can i apply for ugc net electronics exam.whether b.tech in electronics and communication with ugc net is eligible for
lecturer post in regular colleges

Is there any possibility to apply for NET Exam in this month as i have not filled any application form till date .
Kindly suggest is there any way that i can fill it now nad can sit for this exam on 24th june, 2012

My bachelor degree is physics and mater degree is electronics.Can I apply for UGC NET exam under the subject PHYSICAL SCIENCES? Kindly reply immediately as it is already too late to apply.
