To be considered eligible for the National Eligibility Test for lectureship, conducted by the University Grant Commission, one must complete the masters degree program with a minimum of 55% marks. However, the required percentage of marks is relaxed upto 5% for candidates belonging to Sc/St category.

The examination is conducted twice a year and qualified candidates may apply either for June examination or December examination.

Eligibility for UGC NET

Educational Qualification:
post graduate with 55% OR
its equivalent from university recognized
For SC/ST & PWD candidate 50% in post graduate.

Candidate who are appearing qualifying exam are also eligible for this exam.

Age:
For JRF, Candidate not more than 28 years.
For Lectureship minimum 19 year maximum no limit
As relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD 5 years

how i can apply for ugc net , i am waiting for result of 3 and 4 th semester examination result
