i m a student of mechanical engineering and i was doing training in drdo chandigarh....frankly i tell u that if u like to get training in drdo..then u have approach to meet scientists who r working in drdo...or sometimes interviews held at the same premises for training...

Hello Friend;

To get Internship in DRDO you must fulfill the following conditions,

• First of all you must have some acquaintances in DRDO so that they can help you in fetching some Internship or Project.
• You can also try from your college so that college provides you a letter from HOD requesting Internship for you in DRDO.

So please take letter from HOD addressing,

TO
THE HRDG,
DRDL,
KANCHAN BAGH,
HYDERABAD-500097

And write subject as Internship / Industrial Training.

Its a very hard job to get in DRDO. Since they had written on their website that if a student wants to do training or internship, he/she has to email their area of interest and resume directly to the respective DRDO director, but my personal experience is just opposite of that. I never got a reply from DRDO kanpur, jodhpur and so on. But using my contacts I was able to get an internship at DRDO jodhpur for 6 weeks.

Also you are in 2nd year, there might be a possibility that they will show least interest in you because a 3rd year student can better perform there and more knowledgeable than you because you are not that much exposed to your subject than that of your senior.

So, if you are having some contacts or source, use it. I wish you luck.
