Respected Sir/Madam, I want to do PhD but I have got less than 55 percent marks in MA English course. So, what should I do? How I can do PhD? Kindly help me to know about this. Waiting for your response!

Yes, you can study PhD after MA in English with less than 55% but the chances are very less.

The basic eligibility required for studying PhD is a masters level degree or its equivalent education in realted subject from any recognized university.
The minimum percentage varies based on the university. Few universities require 60%, 55% and 50%. There are very few universities which accept 50% in masters. So, you need to check the university requirements and apply for the university.
