Yes, After Intermediate examination you are eligible to apply for the National Defence Academy examination to Join Indian Navy. But for this you have to complete your +2 examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects, if you have choose these two subjects then you are eligible for NDA and choose Naval wings as preference.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination, and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

The Notification published twice in a year and this year examination was already completed, if you are interested then wait for Next year NDA(I) Examination, the Notification will be Published soon in the month of December, after notification online registration will started. Only online application form facility is available for candidates.

The selection of candidates is based on written test followed by personal Interview and medical test.

NDA Examination is comprises of a Written Exam followed by and Intelligence and Personality Test, The written exam consist of two papers namely, Mathematics and General Ability Test. The General Ability Test consists of English and General Knowledge, the papers in all the subjects consist of Objective type questions only with negative marking.

If you cracked written test then you are eligible for SSB Interview for final selection.

It is good that you want to join Indian Navy which is one of the top most defence service in India to serve the country.

Yes. You can join Indian Navy as you have completed your 12th class.

But you did not mention the stream or subjects that you have gone through in your 12th class which will decide your complete eligibility.

Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year in order to recruit the candidates into the following defence services
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

Here is the required eligibility criteria for the candidates in order to apply for this NDA Exam.

One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized college in order to apply for Army wing.

But in order to join Navy and Air Force wings, it is must that the candidates should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

Age criteria:
The required age for the candidates will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

The candidate should be native of India.
