Don't Worry,

After completion of your B.Tech you are not Eligible Merchant Navy written Exam
Eligibility is:
10+2 from Recognized University and Should have Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
Age limit is 20 years below and Upper age limit is SC/ST 5 years.
Candidates should obtain the certificate of contemporary as per the Examinations of Masters and Mates, Conducted by Ministry of Surface Transport associated with Directive General of Shipping(DGS) Mumbai.

For Merchant Navy You need to clear Exam Which is Conducted by Government.
