Sir,
I am a student of Mechanical Engineering and I have applied for GATE. Kindly tell me how to get a good rank in GATE for Mechanical?

GATE is the best option that you have opted for after your Mechanical Engineering course. Using GATE marks, you can do higher studies in IIT's or NIT's or you can also go for jobs in PSU's using those GATE marks.

Preparation:
-Starting from 2nd semester, you have to understand the concepts thoroughly since the syllabus covers only Mechanical related subjects.
-Mathematics should be given high importance since 15-20 marks will be expected from this topic.
-You must enrol in any Mock test sessions so that you can know the standard of yourself and know the subjects you have to concentrate.
-Finally Previous question papers will help you a lot in analysing the type of questions could possibly asked.
