How to go for Civil Service exam after completing B.Tech Civil?


I ve recently completed my B.tech civil.. I want to go for civil service xams ..Hw safe is it to take civil engg. As one of oprionals..besides i want to take it in state level cse xams also.. Plz suggest

Selecting civil engineering as the optional subject is good for you. You can understand and cover the syllabus easily. It is quite suitable for any other competitive exams. For IAS, you need to select one more optional subject. It can be made according to your interest, based on the list given in UPSC portal.
