If you are very much interested in Hotel Management there will be no brakes for your career as there are many opportunities for you as a Hotel Management student. in various industries like

->tourism and development.
->5 star hotels.
->you have chance to develop your own hotel business.
->you can make into top hotel management practice men
->You can get good salaries with your quality services and also with your experience.

Its a booming career but only the disturbance is the Ego of the person comes in the middle.
if your surroundings and your inner yourself supports you to go with this career then there will be no problem.
but if your parents dislike your move then you have to see hell till you succeed in your field.

Hope you understood what will be the tension if you take Hotel Management without the support of your family.

Coming to IAS officer post.

This is a Prestigious Government Job which is obtained after clearing a big hurdle i.e., UPSC Civil Service exam.

If you want to become IAS officer then you have to complete atleast a degree from a recognized Indian University.

you have to have minimum age of 21 years.

I think you yet don't have a degree ,If so then you are not eligible you should at least have a degree .

get that to write IAS entrance exam.

Remember IAS officer and Hotel Management professional is totally different there is huge difference in terms of

Respect Given in the society.
Position and powers.
Money earned
etc., Name and fame are more important right.

I Suggest you should make your mind towards IAS job than being a hotel management professional.

This exam is conducted by UPSC in once time in year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.

But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

The IAS selection process is consist in three way
