To be a CID constable you require only tenth standard qualification....Qualification will depend on the level you want to join. For constables it is 10 plus2,for SI it is graduation and also for officer it is graduation. For SI/officer level you have to qualify competitive examination.In case you qualify civil services examination and get entry in IPS you can get posting in CID.
In the appropriate field under the Central Government.AMAeSI is recognized by the Govt. of India as equivalent to BE degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Candidates with AMAeSI qualification are eligible to apply for any job in Aeronautics where BE is prescribed as the minimum eligibility qualification for the post. They are also eligible to pursue Post Graduate Courses.As there is great dearth of qualified aircraft

The Criminal Investigation Department is a crime detection agency under the Government of India. It was established on the 1st of April 1906. Those officers who work in this elite agency are known as Detectives or as CID officers.

Qualifying exam
Candidates who wish to join the Crime Investigation Department must appear in the Indian Civil Services examination that is held by the Union Public Service Commission.

Who is eligible to apply?
Their level of entry is determined by their qualification.
1. The minimum qualification required for a candidate to join as a constable in the CID is a pass in class 12.
2. If one aspires to join as a Sub Inspector, he/she should have cleared graduation. Graduation is the requirement for officer level post as well.

The Public Service commission is conduct the exams in every year

Selection Procedure

For this exam the selection procedure in based on the written test and personal interview

Post required to qualify physical effective test

A part from first conducted the written test called for final seletion test i.e. Personal Interview

If your aspiring to join the Crime Investigation Department than you have to appear in Indian Civil Services Examination Which is Organized by Union Public Service Commission

The Eligibility Criteria for CID Examination is differ from Post to Post

For Constable Post :- The Applicant should be Finished 12th standard / Equivalent Examination in any discipline from recognized University

For Officer Level Post :- The Applicant should be Fished Bachelor degree / Equivalent Course in any discipline from recognized University.

First preference will applicable to candidate who have Complete the Course in Law / Criminology Etc...

Your age should be 21 years to 30 years and relaxation will applicable for 5 years for sc/st candidates and 3 years for obc candidates .

So you may apply for any one of the post according to your qualification ..

After 10+2 you will not be eligible to appear in this exam.For getting job in Crime Investigation department you will have to complete your degree course.

Eligibility required are :-
~You should be graduate in any7 discipline from recognized university.
~Your minimum age should be 18 years.
~Your age should not be above 27 years.
~Your minimum marks in Graduation should be 50%.

Exam Pattern and syllabus
~This exam will be conducted in two phase :- Preliminary and Mains.
~Preliminary exam will include 4 sections of 100 marks and its durations will be 2 hours.
~Mains exam will include 2 papers each of 200 marks and each will be of 21 hours.
