You can apply for the GATE exams as many times as you want

GATE scores are valid for 2 years

GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is the Exam conducted by IIT each year

Eligibilty to apply for the GATE exams is:
>> BE/BTECH/BARCH pass or Final year student

>> M.SC/MCA/MA with subjects/branch Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent

>> Integrated Master’s degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering / Technology (Five year programme).This programme should have been done just after passing class 12th

Important dates for GATE 2014 Exams:

Forms can be filled from 2nd September 2013
Last date to apply is 1st October 2013

GATE 2014 Online exams would be held between 1st February and 2nd March 2014 on every Saturday and Sunday

Application Fees:
Male candidates:Rs 1500
Female Candidates: Rs 750
SC/ST/PWD Candidates: Rs 750

There is nothing mentioned about number of attempts one can make in GATE exam. That is the best thing and there is no age limit too. As of now, the organizers don’t maintain the database of student taking GATE exam and use it to verify that every time.

The bottom line is you can make as many attempts to GATE exam as you want. There is no limit on number of attempts in eligibility for GATE exam.

There is no limit for attempting GATE exam .You can apply as number of times for appearing GATE Entrance Exam .
Gate is a eligibility for pursuing M.TECH/M.E in post graduate
Gate Eligibility:
1)Bachelor Degree with holding (10+2) qualification.
2)Master Degree Holders can also apply for Gate Exam
3)Candidates who are 3 year or 5 years degree in Technical also can apply for Gate Entrance Exam
4)Students who are qualified from UPSC/AICTE who are equivalent to 4-year degree are also eligible for Gate Entrance Exam.

Gate Have age limit for who are in general category is allowed age 30 years .

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department are applicable for GATE Exam.

There is no marks criteria in Graduation degree for GATE exam.There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply here maximum time.There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

GATE score is valid for TWO years . Only final year and pass out batch are eligible for 2014 GATE exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognised university,then you can appear for the GATE exam.And the score once that you have secured will be valid for two years.

And you can also get a seat in M.Tech course depending upon GATE score.You must have attained the age of 18 years or above to appear for the GATE exam and there is no maximum age limit to appear for the GATE exam.

The Acronym "GATE" stands for Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering. This Test is conducted by the IITs and the Indian Institute of Science - Bangalore.
