How to prepare for IAS exam after completing BSc(Maths, physics and computer science)
Hi sir,
I completed B.Sc( Maths,Physics,Computer science). I would like to prepare for IAS exam.I am confused that how to choose optionals in main exam. Hai,
IAS-Indian Administrative Service. For this you need to crack the Civil Services examination which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) one time in a year. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. There is no need for percentage in your graduation. Final year appearing candidates can also be eligible. Candidate should be a citizen INDIA. Age criteria:- The candidates minimum should be 21 years and the maximue age should be 30 years. Relaxation:- 3 years of relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years of relaxation for PWD candidates. Exam pattern:- ***Civil Services Preliminary Examination, ***Civil Services Mains Examination, ***Personal Interview. Number of attempts for differant categories:- For General--> 4 times, For OBC --> 7 times, For SC/ST --> No limits. List of Optional subjects:- The previous rule the candidate should take two optional subjects but as the new pattern the candidate should be take only one optional subject. If you are interested to become a IAS, First you can appear for Civil Examination Civil Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones for this civil Examination some eligibility criteria are required. i.e. Educational Qualification Age Limit Nationality Physical Requirements etc....
