UPSC stands for the Union Public Service Commission. It is the examination conducting body of India which conducts large number of examination at national level like:

>>Civil Services examinations.

>>Indian Forest Services exam.

>>National Defense Services exam.

>>Special Class Railway Apprentice exam.

>>Engineering Services exam.

>>Combined Defense Services exam

>>Central Armed Police Force exam and more.

The preparation strategy has nothing to do with the category to which you belong. It remains same for candidates for all category. In order to crack UPSC exams, hard work along with strong determination, dedication and devotion towards goal is needed.

However from being OBC or SC/ST category, candidates have certain advantages like:

>>Upper age limit relaxation.

>>Lower cut off marks for examination.

>>More number of attempts for the exam.

NTPC stands for the National Thermal Power Corporation. It is one of the Public Sector Undertakings which recruit candidates from bachelor of engineering in streams like electrical, mechanical engineering.

You need to score better marks in GATE exam to get shortlisted for interview in NTPC. Again here there will be lesser cut off mark for you being an OBC candidate.

UPSC stands for the Union Public Service Commission. Every year it conducts large number of examination at national level.

Some of the UPSC entrance exams are :

~~Civil services examination

~~Indian Forest Services exam

~~Combined Defense services exam

~~CPF exam.

Basically you need to be hard working person to qualify these exams as these exams are tough and requires decent labour and determination to clear it.

NTPC stands for the National Thermal power corporation.

Entry to this is given through GATE exam. Try to score better rank in GATE exam below 500 in your stream then only you can get NTPC job.

For OBC candidates, cut off marks is less, this is advantage for them.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
