If your aspiring to apply for B.tech in aerospace engineering then you should complete 12th standard in science stream with physics / chemistry / Mathematics etc.. from recognized university . You should score minimum 60% percentage of marks in 12th board examination .

It is good to know that your brother wants to do Aeronautical Engineering but you should encourage him to do engineering from good institution.

That good institution may not be kanyakumari district but can ensure better career prospects of the candidate.

So if possible do Aeronautical Engineering from reputed institution.

For admission in good colleges students need to clear IIT-JEE.
