There are many university and colleges which are offering mtech programs in India, but I have heard of other interesting programs like built environment, structural engineering, Robotics, artificial intelligence etc. I would advise you to look for better programs then colleges and universities. These programs as experts say are the future of the world. And as far as gate exams are concerned, not all universities consider this exam, one of the university I got to know about is UPES. It is one of the university offering these core sector programs and its programs and faculty too are famous in pan asia region.

there are many colleges and universities which are offering mtech, But I would advise you to look for interesting and unique programs like CFD, artificial intelligence, robotics, structural engineering etc. As these programs are related to core sector, they are in huge demand in the job market and have good scope too. If these programs interests you then look for upes, a core sector university which is famous for its programs and faculty in pan asia region.
