M.Tech chemical engineering seat in JNTU-H is possible with 2035 rank?


Sir, my gate score in 2017 is 407(marks 48.35) and my rank is 2035. I belong to BC-E category in TS and AP states. Can i get seat in chemical engineering m.tech in JNTU-H?

No, you cannot get seat in JNTU-H for MTech in chemical engineering because the cut off marks for this year is 39.80.
Since you got 48.35 you cannot get seat in JNTU-H.
The cut off marks for chemical engineering for this year is mentioned below:
For General candidates the cut off marks for chemical engineering is 44.30.
For OBC candidates the cut off marks are 39.80.
For SC/ ST/ PwD the cut off marks are 29.50.

-> Yes it is possible but not sure until they fix cutoff of that particular branch for various categories of people regarding castes.
-> As you have secured a good rank probably you may secure seat.
