I completed diploma in mechatronics from NTTF. So, is it possible to join merchant navy and also tell me that what are the criteria i have to take?

No,you are not eligible for Merchany Navy as a officers without passed out graduation in any stream with minimum of 50-60% marks.

Age is in between 19-34 years.

No, Mechatronics diploma holder can't join Merchant Navy.

Those candidates who have passed your 12th or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from central/state board or recognized school are eligible for Merchant Navy exam.

Your age should be below 20 years.

Physical criteria:-

• Eye Sight = 6/6
• Height = 167 cms
• Weight = 50 Kg
• Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

Yes , definitely you can join in Merchant Navy after completion of your diploma course.
Eligibility criteria:

Minimum percentage in diploma should be 50% and your college should be approved by AICTE. Upper age limit should not exceed 28 years.

Procedure to join merchant navy after btec in mecatronics web to apply. Btech will complete this year april. Cleared all with above 60%.
