MBA stands for Masters in Business Administration and it is one of the most sought out post graduation programs to study. MBA is in fact deemed to be a sure shot way of getting success and is seldom missed by career oriented candidates. It is good that you wish to do MBA however I would like to add a comment to what you are planning for.

MBA is a very professional course and hence its importance lies in the knowledge that you would be gaining over the two years of its duration of class room programs. Also be noted that it is a course that drives business and helps them grow in the market. Hence, the jobs offered after MBA are top notch.

Keeping all this in mind, doing MBA from correspondence or distance learning does not seem justified if you want to get a good/great job after completion of your course. MBA in distance education would not yield as fruitful results for you as a regular course would.

Thus, as part of my suggestion I would suggest you to consider taking up MBA in full time courses and here a few more points that you must know to get going:

1. Some of the top MBA Entrance Exams that you can aim at giving are CAT, CMAT, MAT, IIFT, NMAT, SNAP, XAT etc. Once you are done giving them, you would be called for rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. One successful clearing of them, you would be granted admission in the top MBA colleges where you can study full time courses for 2 years.

After 2 years, you would not be far from getting placed in dream companies with best possible job profiles.

However, if you still wish to take up MBA in distance learning, here are a few options to consider and are renowned about their quality of distance education:

1. Sikkim Manipal Univeristy
2. IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University
3. Narsee Monjee Distance Learning
4. IMT Ghaziabad Distance Learning
5. Symbiosis Pune University for Distance Learning.

You may find out more about them by visiting the respective websites of these universities/institutes.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
