Spelling mistake in my AIEEE application form applying offline
i have made a spelling mistake in my application form applying offline. my mothers name is HARSHA M SHAH and i have written it as HARSH M SHAH but i have not sent it yet..pleas suggest me what to do..im afraid of the consequences..reply as soon as possible plzzz. can i write a letter to officials about it with the form and get it corrected... will it be rejected

hey if you have not sent the form yet then you can simply correct it by the help of whitener,it will be accepted.

it has got least chances for rejection .........dont worry ...notify the authority by all means you can like by mail by application letter and by calling them and discussing the whole matter with them.......they can only give you a possible solution for the problem.....

you are saying that you didnt send it then your form will be rejected.if you have sent then that will not create any problem because you can right it at the time of counselling.

Dont worry that does'nt matter,just go and post the form.
Priority is given to father's name if he is alive and is your gaurdian,they will ask for your mother's name only if mother is your gaurdian and father is not alive. And also there are lots of reason for your forms not to rejected,dont worry post it. Best of luck |

hi,

thats nt a issue you can send it now and note your form number and when they are submitted , then yo can check from internet the site of aieee www.aieee.nic.in and correct the mistake online.

that is not a big problem you just write a application to the concerned authority regarding this problem and then they will guide you accordingly....the address to contact the authority is :-The Assistant Secretary (AIEEE Unit)

there is no problem as you have not sended your application form till now....so you just correct it with the help of an whitener and send it they will accept your application....

it will create a problem your form may not get rejected but it will issue the hall ticket on your mistaken name and then your scote card will be invalid as your actaul name is different \contact the offficials as soon as possible

i don't think that you did not go with very big mistake.. you can change it or correct your mothers name yourself..in a care fully manner by using whitener ... so don't think about it good luck.. |

you can change it friend easily with help of whitener but it is written in the form that you should not use whitener ....so its better to contact the authorities and correct it

Hi,
No need to panic so much about such a negligible mistake. Just contact the AIEEE peoples, they will definitely help you out. If they say they will reject, then just simply post the form without any fear. Nobody can cancek your candidature for this issue. You can later on rectify this mistake. |

Try to correct it by using whitener if you are applying offline.
If you have applied online or found no solution to correct it you can write a letter to the authorities mentioning the mistake you have made and the column number. Don't forget to get the 1oth class certificate attested by principal or some gazetted officer. |

HI GUYS I HV A SMALL PROBLEM I AM THE ONLY MALE CHILD( NO BROTHERS AND SISTERS) OF MY PARENTS AND IN THE APPLICATION FORM COLUMN # 8 IT IS GIVEN " ARE YOU THE SINGLE CHILD OF YOUR PARENT " . IN THE INFORMATION BOOKLET IT IS GIVEN COLUMN #8 IS TO BE FILLED ONLY IF U ARE A GIRL CHILD. I HV FILLED YES IS IT GOING TO BE A PROBLEM ????

You have made a minor mistake. It won't affect your application being accepted by the exam conducting authorities. You can post the application form without any worry. And concentrate on your exam. I commited a mistake in filling the UPSC exam application form.Actually my age is 26 and so no need of age relaxation for me in appearing the exams.But i fill the age relaxation column wrongly.So now am getting very much tense whether i will get my hall ticket or not ? Can u give any suggestions for rectification ....

I have commited a mistake in filling up the upsc prelims application form. Am 26 years old and so there is no need of age relaxation for me for appearing the exams.BUt i wrongly filled the column as 03.Actually that 03 code is for physically challenged persons.But am not physically challenged. But i wrongly filled and posted it via offline.Now only i come to know that i commited this mistake so am in tense whether i will be get a hall ticket or not ?Am trying to contact the upsc helpline but my call was not getting connected.Is there any solutions and suggestions for me... Please reply...
