Any graduate student from recognized Indian university is eligible for Civil service exam provided you have scored at least 50% marks and you are above 21 years old.
So you can choose any stream of your wish.

There is no such special stream for joining the civil service stream. Selection of optional subject in civil services can be done according to your interest. Engineering subjects like civil engineering and mechanical engineering are available in the list of optional subjects. Try to select subjects, for which study materials are readily available. Coaching is easily available for popular and common subjects like History and Geography.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
