There is no career in NDA exam for girls because NDA exam is only for male candidates and not for the female candidates . So you can't apply for NDA exam being a girls .

NDA Means National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .

For recruitment of :-

• Indian Army wings
• Indian Navy wings
• Indian Air force wings

Navy / Air force wings :- 12th with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects is necessary to apply for NDA Examination and completed 12th from a recognized School or equivalent qualification .

Army wings :- 12th with any subject of a recognized School or equivalent qualification . No percentage bar required for this examination .

Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply . Age should have a minimum 16.5 years and 19 years and No upper age limits is applicable for this examination . Final year of degree may also eligible to apply .

But after finishing graduate degree then you are eligible to apply for Officer Training Academy Examination through Combined Defence Academy .

Officer Training :- graduate degree of a recognized University and final year of degree course may also eligible to apply . Unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply .

Hi friend..

Being a girl,you are not eligible to give NDA exam and can't join Indian Army through medium of NDA.

But don't worry,you can join through other entries such as:-
1.Common Defence Service (CDS).
2.Technical Graduate Course.
3.Armed Forced Medical College.

After clearing CDS,you will have to join OTA for training.

CDS is conducted by UPSC twice a year and through CDS you can join:-
1.Air Force Academy.
2.Navy Academy.
3.Officer Training Academy.
4.Indian Military Academy.

As per notification of NDA Girls are not at all eligible for NDA as it is only meant for male candidate only.

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts NDA9National Defence Academy exam for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

To be eligible for NDA the candidate must be an unmarried Indian male. He should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good Physical and Mental health.

As you are interested for Defence Services being a Girl candidate you can apply for OTA(Officer's Training Academy) through CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam conducted by UPSC after completion of Graduation in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years.

You cannot give the NDA exam as its for boys only.


NDA entrance exam eligibility criteria:-
You should be minimum 12 pass out
age limit-16.5-19 yrs
you should be an unmarried citizen of india

Exam pattern:-
paper i is mathematics of 300 marks
paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:-
part A is english of 200 marks
part B is general knowledge of 400 marks
so total 900 marks

Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks
