Are girls eligible to apply for NDA?? If not then why?? I personally believe that they should be givena chance as I myself have loads of drams regarding fefence... So its my humble request to please clarify the doubts regarding the question thrown above..

Well no girls are not allowed to take NDA exam and there is no as particular reason behind
it.But as you have said that you want to job DEFENCE then it not a big deal there are many
ways you can join defence.

NCC Entry women ::

Only Graduate with 50% aggregate marks and 'B' Grade in C Certificate Exam
You should be between 19 to 25 yrs

SSC(Technical Women):

You should have engineering degree in notified branches .
You should be between 20 to 27 yrs

SSC(Non Technical Women)

You must have done Graduation or Post Graduation.
19 to 25 yrs for Graduates 21 to 27 Yrs for Post Graduates

no, girls are not permitted to sit in exam.
only unmarried male candidates are allowed in exam.
age should be in between 16 to 19.5 years.
in 12th pcm is must cleared by candidate.

No they are not eligible to write NDA(National Defence Academy) exam.
NDA exam is conducted by UPSC(Union public service commission).

* Candidates should be citizen of India.
* Only Unmarried male candidates are allowed.
* The age limit must be within 16.5 to 19 years.
* You should complete 12th in a recognized institute.
* You should study maths and physics as subject.
* You should have 60% at 12th.

No my friend girls are not allowed for NDA exam .
But don't worry ,because there are various exams through which girls between 21 to 27 years can join defense like -
SSC
CDS
NCC

So forget NDA and start your preparation for those .

I think girls are not eligible to apply for N.D.A. Beacuse if there are girls,the prOCEDURE to pass the step to training recours some loosness,and we do not want any type of looseness in our forces.This is another thing that girls are an important pillar of our nation and for that there are many other exam like N.D.A. after P.G.

Tell me about NCC Course and the fees of NCC and date of exam.

I have to say this to every body that N.D.A should be allowed for girls as boys and girls are equal..Goverment should do something for this .and I seriously wanted to join N.D.A after 12th.

No , Girls are not eligible for the NDA Exam because as per the eligibility criteria set by the Union Public Service Commission , only those candidates are eligible who follow the following :

* You must be an unmarried male.

* Your age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

* You must have passed your 12th from any recognized board.

* You must be physically fit.

Now as per your second answer , its difficult for us to know the reason that why UPSC has declared that girls are not eligible for the exam.
