NDA - National Defence Academy

This exam is conducted by UPSC and is conducted for candidates to join in defence forces of India such as:

>> Indian Army
>> Indian Navy
>> Indian Air Force

This exam is conducted twice in a year namely as NDA I and NDA II

For joining in this exam the candidate need to have satisfied the eligibility criteria framed for the exam.

Nationality:

Candidate need to be a citizen of India

Age Limit:

Candidate need to be 16 1/2-19 years

Education Qualification:

Candidate need to have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects for joining in Indian Army

Fr joining in Indian Navy and Air Force the candidate need to have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects,

Physical Standard:

Candidate need to be physically fit while appearing for the exam as it is a important standard.

Important Dates for NDA I:

DATE OF NOTIFICATION : 31.12.2011

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS : 30.01.2012

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM : 15.04.2012

Important Dates for NDA II:

DATE OF NOTIFICATION : 05.05.2012

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS : 04.06.2012

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM : 19.08.2012

National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by UPSC two times in a year ,i.e., NDA I and NDA II.

To apply for NDA examination, you must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent exam.


• Latest Pattern for NDA examination :




Age Limit, Sex and Marital Status : You must be an unmarried male. Your age must be between 16 & 1/2 to 19 years.

• NDA I

> Date of Notification : 31.12.2011

> Date for the Reciept of Applications : 30.1.2012 (Monday)

> Date of Commencement of Exam : 15.4.2012 (Sunday)


• NDA II

> Date of Notification : 5.5.2012

> Date of the Reciept of Applications : 4.6.2012 (Monay)

> Date of the Commencement of Exam : 19.8.2012 (Sunday)

NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e.

-INDIAN ARMY
-INDIAN NAVY
-INDIAN AIR FORCE

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good physical fitness.

The registration process for NDA- I 2012 exam has already been over by 31.01.2012. The NDA-I exam will be held on 15.04.2012.

For NDA -II exam 2012, the notification will come out on 05.05.2012

The last date of receipt of Application will be on 04.06.2012

The NDA-II 2012 exam will be held on 19.08.2012.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
In month of April and August.

For N.D.A exam you have to pass the 12th with any stream.
The age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year.

I am sorry to say that you can't apply in N.D.A(I), 2012.
If you want you can apply in N.D.A (II), 2012.

Date of Notification:-05.05.2012
Last date of receipt of form:- 04.06.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:-19.08.2012 (SUNDAY)
