Computer Science engineering deals with softwares,programming languages like c/c++,java,dot net,java script etc.this stream has a very good value as you can get job in software company or IT company so in short it offers job security and satisfying packages too.

Yes B.Tech in computer science and engineering is a great option.
If you are in good engineering college and/or you are consistent with your studies,getting good marks,you can get a handsome package.

Good students in CSE takes away high packages than other branch students.But,it would fetch you private jobs and less chance is there for a government job.

hii frnd,to get good package of salary,first of all ur resume preparation must drag the company requirements,so try to do value added courses like java,and good skills in writing micro controllers codings,if u r recieving any schoroliship mention those too as an achievement,try to do some workshos conducted by different universities related to ur branch,it projects u to interviewer that u r good in practical knowledge,so try project u more trough the resume impress the interviewer,it helps u to get a good jod in esteemed companies

i have just completed my engineering in ECE with 8.0 CGPA. i dont have any job now and am not getting to which field should i go. for what should i go for IES or GATE exams. please suggest me the further scope for both.
