Eligibilty for application of nda like age?...please tell me the criteria for it

NDA stands for national defence acadamy,and these exam held by UPSC twice in year like NDA1 and NDA2.
1.for the Nda the candidate should have age 16.5 to 19 years of age,and 12th subject like physics,chemistry and maths. |

after 12th and with any subject u r elligible for nda xam. But you must secure at least 50% marks. Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India. |

N.D.A. stands for National Defense Academy and this examination is Conducted Twice in a year as N.D.A (I) and N.D.A (II) by U.P.S.C.
--To apply for this examination you have to complete your Intermediate examination from a recognized Board. --Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for NDA Examination. --If you have completed your 12Th examination and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years then you can appeared for this examination. This examination is Conducted by UPSC for these 3 wings : Army Wings Naval Wings Air Force Wings For Army wings, you have to complete your 12Th examination in any discipline. For Naval and Air Force Wings, you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects. There is No Upper age relaxation is applicable for any candidates. The selection are based on Written test, Personality test and Medical test. Those who cracked all these stages are eligible for Training. Examination Pattern : Subject Code Duration Maximum Marks Mathematics 01 2-½ Hours 300 General Ability Test 02 2-½ Hours 600 Total marks 900 To apply for this examination, you have to fulfill these Requirements : You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease. The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air-Force). Your chest should be well developed, fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms You should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. |

I am listing the eligibility criteria below:- Eligibility Criteria Age: 16½ to 19 years. Marital Status and Gender: Unmarried male candidates Educational Qualification: (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also [FONT=Arial]apply for[/FONT] this examination. Nationality - A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India). Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
