The NDA Exam pattern is common for Army, Air Force as well as Naval wing of National Defense Academy. Students who have studied Mathematics and Physics in the +2 level are eligible to write the examination for any of the three wings of NDA but those who belong to stream other than Science are only considered eligible to write the examination for Army wing of National Defense Academy.

Now, as far as the format of the examination is concerned, it is as follows:
Mathematics- 300 Marks
General Ability Test- 600 Marks
Interview- 900 Marks

The above mentioned format of the NDA exam is applicable for candidates willing to join any of the three wings of National Defense Academy and since you are from commerce background, you will be eligible to apply for the Army wing and like other, you too, will have to qualify all the papers mentioned above.
The minimum eligible age to write NDA Exam is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years. Since the examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission, refer to its official website for further information.

Hi,Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) periodically conducts examination for admission to National Defence Academy(NDA)/Naval academy.Final selection is on the basis of a written examination followed by an interview and medical test. A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination. For Army wing of National Defence Academy you need to be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University and for Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy you need to be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. i m a humanities student and i dont have maths in class 12 .
m i eligible for nda in army wing as i have maths till class 10 only
so would i have to give the maths exam or there is another pattern of this.

Dear aspirant,

If you are applying for NDA then you have to face Maths and Science questions in objective type paper .

The question paper is same for Arts , Commerce and Science student so be prepared for it.

EXAM PATTERN

NDA exam have following papers.

PAPER I :

This is a Maths paper having questions from Algebra, trignometry, analytical geometry,Matrices,calculus, integration and differentiation,statistics and probability.

PAPER II:

It is a General Ability paper having questions from physics, chemistry , biology, english,economics, geography, international and national current affairs.

In total it will be of 900 marks objective type paper.

So be prepared for it if you want to succeed.

If you pass this objective type paper with good marks then only you will be called for SSB interview.

Sir , I gave NDA exam in which I was expecting to get elementary maths questions paper because I am a non maths student but it didn't happened. Because on some sites they have uploaded that only upto 10 class standard maths is asked to non maths student.please help me out from this issue
