hi!!

NDA stands for national defence academy for which exam is conducted twice every year bu UPSC (union public service commission).

for admission in:::

-Indian navy
-indian army
-indian airforce


details of exam (NDA-1)

date of exam:::15 April,2012
last date of receipt of complete application form:::30 january,2012

hence you cannot apply if you have not applied before this date.


Details of NDA-2

Date of Notification : 05/05/2012

Last Date of receipt of complete Application form : 04/06/2012

Date of NDA-2 Exam : 19/08/2012

Eligibility criteria

-atleast XII pass from a recognized board

-only male candidates can apply.

-for navy and airforce physics+ maths is necessary.

-indian citizenship.

-Nepal,bhutan,candidates can also apply

Dates for NDA I Exam

Release of Notification: October, 2011/2012
Last date of submission of application form: November, 2011/2012
Date of Examination: April, 2012/2013

dates for NDA II EXAM:

Release of Notification: April,2012
Last date of submission of application form: May, 2012
Date of Examination: August, 2012
these are the dates and you can give entrance exam for NDA.

NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA -I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years, can apply for NDA.

The registration process for NDA-I has already been completed, the exam will be held on 15.04.2012.

As you are interested you may apply for NDA-II, the notification of which will come out on 05.05.2012 and after which the application form will be available in the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsconline.com through which NDA can be applied on line. The exam will be held in the month of August 2012.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy

This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission)

There are eligibility criteria's framed for the exam as like other exams,and you need to satisfy them in order to be eligible to apply for the exam.


-> The candidate appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India

-> The Martial Status for the exam states that the candidate need to be a unmarried male candidate

-> The age limit for the NDA Exam specifies the candidate should have 16 1/2-19 years

-> Education qualification for the NDA Exam is the candidate appearing should have completed +2 with a fair percentage to join in Indian Army

-> There are certain physical standard framed for the exam which the candidate need to possess in order to apply for the NDA Exam.
