My name is Aswathy. I'm doing BBA . I want to know the procedures for joining Company Secretary after graduation. The details of the course (Company Secretary),its duration,institutions ,fees,etc. So I request for the best suggestions.

A qualified company secretary is a professional who has thorough knowledge in legal, secretarial, finance, accounts, personnel and administrative departments of companies or other organisations.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY TO JOIN COMPANY SECRETARY COURSE

10+2 passed any stream (art, science, commerce) or equivalent qualification from recognized board.

But as you are graduate from recognized university you need not to clear the first stage of the company secretary course.

There is no requirement for age and of marks in company secretary course.

Admission is open through out the year.examination are held twice a year in june and december.

It is not a regular course butThe Institute of Company Secretaries of India have centers all over India you may get the nearest center list and visit there for admission in Company Secretaries course.

YES, You can join the CS programme

Since you have completed your graduation you do not require to study the Foundation stage of the CS programme
You will get exemption from that stage


You can take admission in the Executive Stage


Eligibilty to give the Executive level Exams of ICSI is
Graduation Pass or Foundation course pass of the ICSI

There are 7 papers that you have to give in the ICSI Executive level

Module 1

>> Company Laws

Module 2
>> Company Accounts and Auditing Practices
>> Industrial, General and Labour Laws
>> Capital Markets and Securities Law


Cut Off Dates for Admission to Executive Course
28th February for December Exams in the same year
31st August for June Exam next year

Executive course Fees:

For B.COM graduates:Rs9000 and for other Graduates it is Rs 10000
Exam fees :Rs 2400

no you don't no any entrance you are only fee pay and do the company secretary ok
