NET stands for National Eligibility Test.It will be conduct twice time in a year by UGC in the month of June and December.

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.But your masters degree marks must be above 55% .There is no age criteria for NET exam.

There is no age criteria , but in the case of JRF your maximum age should be below 28 years old.

I have attached the syllabus for NET Exam for Life Science subject .

NET Exam is conducted twice in a year by the UGC (University Grants Commission) in June and December.

NET Exam is conducted for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship.

ELIGIBILITY FOR NET EXAM

Academic Qualification:

You must have secured 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree or equivalent qualification from University/Institutions recognized by UGC.

5% relaxation in marks is given to SC/ST/PWD applicants

Age Limitation:

For Lectureship: No Age Limit

For JRF: 19-28 years
