![]() NDA Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria This exam will be carried out by the Union Public Service Commission. The exam will be held twice in a year. National Defense Academy (NDA) allows only male candidates to apply for the NDA entrance exam. If you want to join the Army wing of the NDA , you must have a pass in class 12 or its equal from any subject stream from a recognized board or university. If you want to join the Naval Wing and the Air Force must have a pass in class 12 in science. Age Qualification for NDA Entrance Exam You should be an unmarried male candidate. You must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years. You will be given four hours to attend two papers in NDA examination. The total marks allotted for both papers is 900. N.D.A is the National Defense Academy. The entrance exam for this academy is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission.
Once you complete your 10+2 from a recognized board or its equivalent and you are in the age range of 16.5 years to 19 years, you become eligible for the N.D.A entrance exams. You must be unmarried male Indian citizen also. Note: For Airforce and Navy, mathematics and physics is necessary at 10+2 level. The entrance exam has two stages: 1. Written Test 2. Service Selection Board. The last date for receipt of applications for the N.D.A -I is already over. If you are eligible for the exams, you need to wait for the N.D.A-II notification. The notification will be released on 20/06/2015 as per UPSC examination calender. So, till then you can prepare for the entrance exam. Books of Arihant Publications are the best for self study. You can also refer to the previous year question papers for getting idea of types of questions asked in entrance exams. For any more details, you can logon to www.upsc.gov.in. |

NDA exam stands for National Defense Service which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
Education Qualification:- You should have passed 12th standard from a recognized university. Science stream for Indian navy and air force. Candidates who passed 12th standard in any stream is eligible for Indian army. Appearing in 12th standard are also eligible for NDA exam. Age limit- Your age should be between 16.5-19 years. Scheme for NDA examination:- Mathematics 2 1/2 hours consisting 300 marks General Ability Test 2 1/2 hours consisting 600 marks. Only unmarried male candidates is eligible for NDA exam. Selection Process There will a written exam of Mathematics and General ability test. After clearing Written exam you are called for SSB interview. Medical test is last stage for NDA selection Process. |

You can give the NDA examination after giving your board 10 2 examination and your age must be between 16.5-19yrs and passed or have physics and mathematics as main subjects.
Only unmarried mamle Indian citizen are able to give the examination. The examination is conducted twice in a year by UPSC as NDA-Iand NDA-II. The examination is of 6 hrs and of 900 marks on the same day.It consists of two paper one of mathematics and other of general ability of 600 marks. After qualifying the written you have to go through SSB procedure which is tough as compared to written then the selected students gets training in army institutions. |

NDA stands for National Defense Academy .NDA has three wings (i) Indian Airforce (ii) Indian Navy (iii) Indian Army .
NDA exams are held two times every year by Union Public Service commission which are held in the months of April (NDA I) and September (NDA II). Some of the eligibility criteria for above examination are mentioned below :- You must be a boy . You must be unmarried . Your age must within 16.5 years to 19 years .
