ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

2)Personal Interview.

Nice to see your Interest In National defense Academy. To apply for NDA, You have to completed your 12Th examination form a recognised board.

To apply for NDA Examination, you have to passed your Intermediate examination and Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years. There are Three wings in NDA : Army, Naval and Air-Force.

For army You have to complete your 12Th in nay stream from a recognised board, But for Naval and Air Force, You have to complete your 12Th with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects.

The Notification of NDA Examination will be Published in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website in the Month of December.

Important Dates :

Notification Released Date : 31/Dec/2011

Last date of apply : 30/Jan/2012

Examination Date : 15/April/2012.

The Online Registration Process will be started soon after declaring the Notification and you can fill the Online application form After Notification.

The Union Public Service Commission will hold the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2012 on 15th April 2012 for admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of NDA for 129th course and for the 91ST Indian Naval Academy course (INAC) commencing from December , 2012

Conditions of eligibility

Age limits, sex and marital status:Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than _____ and not later than _____ are eligible
Educational qualifications

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 cadet entry scheme of the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination
Physical standards: Candidate must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2012 as given in appendix-V of commission’s notice for the examination published in employment news/rozgar samachar dated 31.12.2011
How to apply: Candidates may apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in, detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the abovementioned website
Candidates may also apply offline in the common application form devised by the commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated head post offices/post offices (specified in appendix-III of the notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs 20/- (Rs twenty only). Each such form can be used only once and only for one examination
In case of any difficulty in obtaining application forms from the designated HPOs/Pos, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned post master or UPSC’s forms supply monitoring cell over Tele 011-23389366/Fax 011-23387310
Fee:Candidates applying online are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs 50/- (Rs fifty) only either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card
Candidates applying off-line (through common application form) are required to pay a fee of Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only) through central recruitment fee stamp only
SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee

Availability of NDA Forms

The NDA (National Defence Academy) exam is held every year twice in the months of April and August..

The next exam for NDA is on 15th April,2012 for which the forms shall be available from 30th December,2011 and the last date for form submission is 30th January,2012..

The forms will be available in your nearby post office or you can buy it from your nearest book depots..

You need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria first..in order to appear for the NDA exam..

1) You should be a 12th pass out (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths if you want to join Navy or Air Force)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

The written exam shall test you in the following areas :-

English
General Knowledge
Basic Maths


You need to first clear the written exam,then the interview and then the medical examination..

Eligibility

1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination.

2:Marital Status:Unmarried

3:Sex :Male.

4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19.

5:Nationality:
You have to be A citizen of India, or
subject of Bhutan, or
subject of Nepal, or
Tibetan refugee .

after which the link will be disabled.

FEES
