Who all are eligible to apply for IBPS and SBI PO exams?
Sir, I have completed my graduation with 53% marks and M.Com with 53% marks. Can I give the IBPS and SBI PO exams? Which are the other banking entrance examinations available for which I am eligible?

You are eligible to appear for IBPS PO and SBI PO examination.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university in any stream. The age limit is 20-30 years for IBPS and for SBI it is 21-30 years. There is relaxation in age limit for reserved category. Examination is conducted in various stages for final selection. You can appear for Clerk examination as well as RBI Grade B examination. |

You are eligible to appear in examination for both IBPS as well as SBI.
The required educational qualification for both is that candidate must have passed minimum bachelor degree from a recognised university. Age limit - 20-30 years for IBPS. 21-30 years for SBI. You have to qualify in various stages of examination for final selection. Other banking examination conducted are :- RRB/RBI/Private banks/IBPS CWE etc. |

Eligibility to appear for PO examination is :-
Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognized university. There is no limitation on aggregate and discipline of bachelor degree. So, you are eligible to appear for the examination. Age limit varies for the examination. On the basis of bachelor degree qualification you are appear in other examination for selection as Clerk, Specialist Officer etc. |

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. IBPS conduct Common Entrance examination for post of clerk and Probationary officer for different public sector banks.
The age limit for Probationary officer is 20-30 years. SBI conducts its own entrance examination for clerk and Probationary officer. Age limit is 21-30 years. OBC and SC/ST candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation. Candidates who have done bachelor's degree and meet minimum age criteria can apply for both exams. |
