Is B.Pharma qualification sufficient for Drug Inspector post?
Sir,
I have completed b.pharma this year. I want to apply for drug inspector post now. So tell me if my qualification is sufficient for the specified post? Please send my email id. [email protected] |

Yes, you can very much appear for Drug Inspector exam as you have the qualification required for the examination. However, you should keep in mind that you need to have completed your graduation from a recognized university and should have scored a minimum of 55% at your graduation level.

No, B.Pharmacy is not sufficient for applying drug inspector post.
The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for drug inspector is that the candidate must have passed degree in pharmacy from a recognized college. Apart from this the candidate must have 18 months experience in the filed of manufacturing/ testing of drugs. |

Yes, B.Pharm degree is very much sufficient for Drug Inspector post. So, you can very well opt for the post by clearing the examination conducted for it. You should have however have scored a minimum of 50% in aggregate in your graduation.

Yes, you can apply for Drug Inspector post with B.Pharma qualification .
Drug inspectors are selected through the entrance examinations which is conducted every year at state level by state government and at national level by the UPSC. The eligibility criteria required to apply for drug inspector exam are as under:- -The candidate should have degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences or medicine with specialization in clinical pharmacology or microbiology from a recognized university or must hold equivalent pharmacy degree which should be from PCI approved college . -The candidate should have a minimum of 18 months experience in the manufacturing field. -The candidate should be a citizen of India. -The candidate age limit must be in between 21 years to 35 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years for the reserved category candidates. -The selection procedure for the post consists of Written test Physical test Viva-Voce |

Yes, you are eligible to appear for Drug Inspector post examination conducted by state public service commission.
The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree in B.Pharma or have graduate in medicine with specialization in microbiology. The age limit to appear for examination vary for different states. So, you can appear for examination now. The examination paper contains question of General knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Mental Ability and one paper completely on the basis of B.pharma syllabus. |
