Yeah you can apply for the NDA exam even if you are a Arts student as you will satisfy the education qualification needed for joining in Indian Army.As per the education qualification needed for joining in Indian Army the candidate need to have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education.

There are certain other criteria's which are also needed to be satisfied along with it and they may include such as that:

# The candidate need to have a Citizenship in India as per the Nationality standard

# The Martial status needed for the exam is that the candidate should be a Unmarried male candidate

# The age limit needed is 16 1/2-19 years

# Candidate should be Physically fit.

If you are going to satisfy all these criteria for the exam then you can apply for the NDA exam

Yes , you can apply for the NDA exam even though you are an arts student.

NDA exam details:-

NDA stands for national defence academy
The exam will be conducting by upsc twice in every year . Through this exam, the candidates can join in Defence services.

With arts subject in 12th , you can join only in Army through NDA exam .

To apply for the exam , age shouldbe in between 16.5 to 19 years.
Only male candidates are eligible for the exam . Female candidates are not eligible .
The candidate shouldbe a citizen of india.


Selection process is ,

~ written exam
~ ssb interview
~ medical test

Yes, you can apply for NDA exam.

The candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Procedure for NDA exam:-

1.Written test
2.Physical test
3.Medical
4.Interview

Written test is conducted by UPSC but other 3 steps are conducted by SSB.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.

UPSC conducts NDA exam every year in order to recruit personnel in Indian Defense Services.

The eligibility required to apply for the NDA exam are as under:-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The qualification required is 10+2 level degree in any discipline for Indian Military academy,10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

-The age limit to apply for the exam is from 16.5 years to 19 years.

-Only Unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam.

-The selection process involves

*Written exam

*Physical and Medical Test

*Personal Interview by Service Selection Board.
