Hi everyone, I just want to know about the admission criteria for studying BSc(Perfusion Technology) in JIPMER-Puducherry? Kindly let me know about the admission criteria because I am interested to study this course in this college. Thank you!

The admission to Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is through entrance examination conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER)-Punducherry.


The candidates are required to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English as a mandatory subject with minimum 55% marks from a recognized board.

The candidates are required to have attained the age of 17 year at the time of filling the application form.

The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission.

The applicant should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology, and English from a recognized board.
The applicant must have obtained minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology at the qualifying examination (45% for SC/ST/OBC/OPH candidates).

>>Minimum age should be 17 years and no upper Age limit.

>>You must have completed 10+2 with physics,chemistry,biology/Botony and zoology are the major subjects.

>>And there is a requirement of percentage of 50%for gen and obc and 45% pwd ,for SC/ST requirement 40% of marks.

>>Vocational streams of 10+2 can also be eligible to apply for JIPMER.

=> B.Sc. Perfusion Technology or Bachelor of Science in Perfusion Technology is an undergraduate Bioscience course.

=> First of all, the candidate should have passed 12th class from a recognized board.

=> The minimum percentage required to get admission in Bachelor of Science in Perfusion Technology is 50%.
