May I please know the criteria and procedure of getting admission in Bcom course in Symbiosis.

To get admission in BCom course in Symbiosis, you need to follow the below-mentioned criteria and procedure:

1. Eligibility Criteria: You should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

2. Application Process: The application process for BCom course in Symbiosis starts with the registration for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). You need to register for the SET exam online by filling in your personal and academic details and paying the application fee of Rs. 1950/-. After registering for the SET exam, you need to apply separately for the BCom program in Symbiosis by choosing the institute and the course.

3. Selection Process: The selection process for admission to the BCom course in Symbiosis is based on the following criteria:

a. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) score: You need to appear for the SET exam conducted by Symbiosis International University. The SET exam assesses your proficiency in various areas such as General English, Quantitative, General Awareness, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

b. Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates based on their SET score will be called for a Group Discussion (GD) round. In the GD round, you will be given a topic to discuss with a group of other candidates.

c. Personal Interview (PI): Based on your performance in the SET exam and the GD round, you will be called for a Personal Interview (PI) round. In the PI round, you will be assessed on your communication skills, academic background, and other relevant factors.

4. Final Admission: The final admission to the BCom course in Symbiosis is based on your overall performance in the SET exam, GD, and PI rounds. Once you are selected, you need to pay the admission fee to confirm your admission.

The admission in Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune is completely merit based i.e; based on the marks secured in the Class 12th board examination.

There are no specific criteria and any Class 12th passed candidate can fill out the online application for admission to the same institute which is generally made available on the institute's official website tentatively in July every year.
