I am pursuing my graduation from Sikkim Manipal distance education. Can I apply for LIC DO after completing my graduation? I am looking for a quick response from your side.

Eligibility for LIC DO :

Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university.
Age of candidate must be from 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is provided as follows :
O.B.C. Candidates : 3 years
S.C./S.T. Candidates : 5 years
L.I.C. Employee : 12 years

There is no minimum percentage criteria.

Preference is given to the candidates with Masters degree.

LIC conducts the exam for DO every year and you need graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Therefore, if you have got degree from a recognized distance education university then surely you will be eligible for this post.

SMU is a recognized distance education university and you should not be worried about its legibility. It is absolutely fine to apply using your distance mode degree these days.

# The required educational qualification for all above mentioned posts:

After completion of graduation degree from SMU, you can apply for LIC DO entrance exam.

Since, the Sikkim Manipal university is recognized by the UGC, so please don't worry, you are definitely eligible for LIC DO exam. Please go through the eligibility criteria below:

- The applicant must have passed Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year students may also eligible to apply.

- The applicant should not be more than 30 years and less than 21 years. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST is 5 years, for OBC Candidates is 3 years.
