The Major is the primary area of study for a Bachelor's degree, whereas the Minor is a subsidiary area of study. Your Major should be the area of study in which you intend to pursue a career, and your Minor can either be a subject that complements that objective or a deeper dive into a hobby or interest.

Your bachelor's degree can be personalized based on your desired areas of specialization using majors and minors. Simply defined, a major is your primary area of interest, while a minor is your secondary area.
Your Major should be the field of study in which you want to work, and your Minor can either be a course that supports that goal or a more in-depth exploration of your passion.

Minor and Major Training refer to the practical training programs that engineering students undergo as part of their curriculum. These training programs aim to provide students with hands-on experience and practical exposure to the concepts they learn in their academic courses.

Minor Training: Minor training is a short-term training program that engineering students undergo during the summer break between the second and third year of their undergraduate course. It typically lasts for a duration of 4-6 weeks and is focused on imparting practical skills in a specific area of engineering. Minor training can be taken up in various industries, research institutes, and academic institutions.

Major Training: Major training is a long-term training program that engineering students undergo during the final year of their undergraduate course. It typically lasts for a duration of 6-8 months and is focused on providing students with practical experience in a real-world engineering project. Major training is an opportunity for students to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in their academic courses to solve real-world engineering problems.
