Most of the well reputed and high ranked companies offers summer internship to only 3rd year and final year students. The reason behind this is that being a second year student you would have little knowledge in your core field. So my suggestion to you is that you should wait for one more year and after completing your 2nd year you can apply for the summer internship in following companies :
