Eligibility to apply in SLET for a candidate who has secured 56% in M.Phil?
Hello guys,
I have secured 56% marks in M.Phil and I want to apply for SLET for doing PhD course. Please let me know I am eligible to apply or not? Thank you. |

SLET exam is conducted for Lectureship post only. The educational qualification required for SLET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for SLET exam. There is no age criteria for SLET exam. |

The eligibility criteria for a Student who is willing to study PhD is that the person should be a Master Degree holder from a recognized University.
You have already completed M.Phil so you already have a Master Degree. You must have a career of 50% throughout and that is the only criteria that is there expect for the other part. So if you are having a career of 50% plus average like you have in your M.Phil you will be able to apply for the SLET Examination so that you can pursue the PhD Course and become a PhD Scholar. |
