hi friends, seniors and juniors.i'm a engineering graduate. but i am working in department of post as postal assistant(clerk). but all my friends are joining the software industries. sometimes i think whether i have done the right thing?????????????????????????????

forget about money...what about the respect,status if you are working under central government..nothing beats that even if you are filthy RICH...unless you are an IAS,IPS,IES,IFS,you wont experience anything like it...so in the first place "DO NOT COMPARE GOVERNMENT JOB WITH PRIVATE SEC JOB"

being a daughter of a army officer i would definately say that government job is far better than private job it gives u all facilities like canteen free bus service or train service and it is most secured and reputed job

I AGREE THAT GOVERNMENT JOBS A BETTER THAN PRIVATE BUT IN PRIVATE SALARY IS ALSO AWESOME & ONE CAN ANYTIME CHANGE HIS JOB FROM ONE TO OTHER ACCORDING TO HIS COMFORT. HE HAS THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM (article no. 19-22). HE CAN SPEND A TIME WITH FAMILY ALSO.IN PRIVATE SECTOR ONE HAS NO LIMITATIONS OF EARNING MONEY. IT IS UPTO HIS HARD WORK.

i like to join govt job because everyone wants to fullfill their needs soevery one like govt job

Govt. Job- streo type, looking behind bosses sentiment and useless rules; ignorant vigilence observation.

Pvt. sector Job- An efficient/potential is always acceptable with a view to business achievement.

Government job is preferable because it is more reliable.There you get a good salary to lead a happy life & also government servants get many extra facilities which are not provided at private sector.Also in private sector anytime u can lose ur job ,it's completely unreliable.
Private sector is gud for people who are ambitious & are intrested in earning more money......

i think both sectors have some merit and demerit . it depends on you that what will you prefer money or royalty . if money then private sector otherwise government sector !!!.......

off course Government job.First of all in our current society it is like a status symbol,it gives job security,other facilities, No heavy mental pressure like private sector job and there are other perks for family and children..

From my point of view i would prefer government jobs as its more reliable and trusted and also the facilities after the retirement like pension facilities etc...makes our old age more secure.You won't have a hectic work also as compared to private sector and also can get more leisure time and can spend more time with families also,therefore government jobs are the best.

i think government job will be a better than private sector because it gives more security to your job than private sector even during the inflation...
serving in the government job provides you with more facilities compared to private...
govt jobs has good salary too and jobs workload is also less compared to private sector....
so i prefer govt sector job....

First of all we should understand one thing that
when an indivdual is working as a government staff
he should have to be proud of it.He is working
for the government it means he is working for the
whole INDIA.Where as if the same person works for a
private sector company then he is helping for the
growth of a one individual person(boss of his company).
If your motivation is working hard where ever you go
then surely you must choose to work in government,
because your hard work should be usefull for the
growth of whole country not for the growth of a
single company.

I personally feel govt jobs are more secured as well less hectic. Being a girl I need security more than "money". So, for job have to be only govts one.

i would prefer government jobs because of the following reasons:
# gives us security and stability
# would not have to work late hours
# it also gives us retirement benefits
# we get more flexibility

I think govt. job is best because it provides:
1-job security ( very attractive feature)
2-less work as compare to public sector
3-less tension
4-less salary but after 6th pay commission salary is being high

and all these are not found in private sector but one thing which is special in private sector is our living standard and we learn professionalism...

The government needs some realy talented student for the progress of it...
According to rest time ... they are also preferable.....
But if one is good enough to take chalenges he can go for private sector job...

growth rate in government job is not that much as compared to private sector

even starting salary is high in many private sectors then the government high

indians dont like to travel in govt buses.they do not like to attend govt schools, they do not want to get treatment in govt hospitals but want a government job.........................isn't it incredible???

one has the opportunity to reach top positions in govt sector as in IAS where the cabinet secretary enjoys the postion of king.similarly in IPS and IFS.
whereas in private sectors people end up as chairman or ceo which is predominantly confined within company only.

i think govt jobs push persons to majestic positions lilke cabinet secretary as in IAS with good recognition in country.similarly in IPS and IFS.

i am in government secter and having package 3.2lac per year ,i completed diploma and appeared in BE last year is remain for job purpose and i want comleted BE then what i do? can i resign this job?

we can have more benefits when we have a govt jobs.
1:future savings
2:good salary
3:iess stress and tension
we can even serve the country.
we can remove corruption.
we can make india a peaceful country.

In government sector having a job security in the life and many benifits like increments good salary will also be there

in pvt job...people do get money but they are provided with limited facilities..

Govt job is good , if you satiafied wit u r work , If not you have to change it to private sector .

I things that govt. is better than a pvt. sector jobs Becaus govt. jobs always give secure & a safe life not only worker after worker govt. jobs also gives a secure life of his family. So govt. jobs is best forever, But now days in india alarge no of people want to get the govt. jobs , if u are a good & intellgent student and want a govt jobs so u doing hard work every sector field because in govt jobs big competion Perhaps u don't get the govt. jobs. After this u trying to pvt. jobs u definitly get this jobs because in pvt. jobs employer always want a good and good looking worker. My mean to say is only this competion is very-very much in govt. sector than pvt. sector. Because u are a liable for a jobs u get very easy, but in govt. u are very perfect for a job whenever u won't get that jobs. firstly u will try to a govt. jobs then after u trying to pvt. jobs

give debete on why you like government job not like private job

there is no scope of progress or any other talent-based-credit given to us n gov job.. the presence of quota system degrades talent rather than developin the particular sector!!! but this is not the case in private sectors!!!!! they aim for mutual developments!!!!!

I am working in a Public sector (PSU) company as software developer.My company has offices in remote locations where road,rail and other facilitities are very difficult.I can be transferred to any of these locations in near future.I hv got offer from TCS. should i switch over to pvt sector & join TCS....
