Tell us your Prefrence over Indian Navy which is reputed job or Merchant Navy which is well known for its High payoff.

it is entirely your preference,
if you want to serve the nation then go for indian navy and if you want to serve yourself then go for merchant navy,
only the thing is that getting into indian navy is not very easy and you have to clear many tests,were as getting into merchant navy is bit easy

indian navy is a very vast organisation & in indian navy a person can achieve beyonhis imagination

As far as I have seen and my experiences tells that Indian Navy is far more better than Merchant Navy in providing quality of life. what would you do with the money you earn in Merchant navy when you can't enjoy on time properly.

Definitely i would prefer the Indian Navy rather than choosing Merchant Navy.

Indian Navy is totally different from Merchant navy,while the former deals with War and its personals are well trained
whereas,the Merchant navy deals with transporting cargo and occasionally, passengers, by sea.

The Indian Navy guards & protects the naval borders of the nation,everyone will be proud to be in the Indian Navy as it will provide a chance to serve his/her country.
Whereas,the merchant navy has a business as its motive.

A person working in Merchant Navy gets totally disconnected from the family as he have to travel for long in the sea.
The case is different in the Indian Navy.

So,this and many are the factors are the reasons for my choice of INDIAN NAVY.

Merchant Navy nd indian Navy...are both incomparable with eachother...Since the word navy is in both..It creates a lot of confusion..

In my opinion..Indian Navy is much better than merchant navy..in terms of reputation,facilities,job satisfction..

merchant navy is much b8r than indian navy coz you earn alot & have 6 months to enjoy ur money....so i prefer merchant navy

Ofcourse one should join indian navy.
Ask 10 people randomly all of them know indian navy but dont know what is merchant navy.
Thats the of impact indian navy.
So prefer indian navy as compare to merchant navy...

Its all about ones preference.But for the students who want to go in Navy but doesn't have the required skill and talent can join merchant Navy as this is also a path which lead to them to serve the Nation.

merchant navy totally differ from Indian navy it is totally opposite field only navy word is similar and Indian navy is better than merchant one.........

hi bro i am in indian navy right now and after giving in 10 years of my life in this prestigious force i am sure that taking in to consideration all the benefits it offers INDIAN NAVY is far better an option provided u join as an officer............ and what more,after VI CPC govt. is paying you quite decently too.

hey Indian Navy is much better than Merchant Navy,well Merchant navy suits an adventure loving person whereas Indian navy suits one if he/she wants to serve the country

if you are not selfish and have something to do something for the nation you should join Indian navy but you are selfish than choose merchant navy

I would like to suggest for ur interest because both are high level jobs. Merchant Navy is for the country as well as Indian Navy is for the country.
Anyone can join Merchant navy easily but it takes a long time to become an engineer onboard and Indian Navy is a defence one where as u said a great reputation and respect would be gained as compared to MNavy.
If you would ask me to choose the option just between these two I would choose The Indian Navy.

Always Indian NAVY as it is for technical people and give respectful post than Merchant navy.For merchant navy we need just 12th class and Indian NAVY need graduation this make difference and also pay scale also high for Indian NAVY.

Indian NVay is preferred by me. As it provided many advantages and offers to us.

i will join indian navy because india`s pride is more than money.

merchant navy is a private one.
indian navy is a government job.
thats why i will opt for indian navy for sure.
reasons
1.safer career
2.its government job
3.various facilities.

My personal opinion is Indian Nevy,there has a good respect and huge salary...
Merchant navy is also good but less than indian navy...

Merchant Navy is one of the best job in India. It provides you good salary, good working, sufficient leaves and you travels a lot in ocean

It entirely depend upon your interest. what do you want from job -high salary or royality and standard. if you want high salary then merchant navy should be preffered as it is well-known for its high payoff. but if you want to serve your nation then you should join Indian navy. but joining navy is not very easy.you have to face so many tests whereas joining merchant navy is not so difficult.

I have completed my B.Sc.[I.T.] and i want to go for Merchant Navy. Is there any I.T. department in Merchant Navy?

Well of course Merchant navy is known for its high pay but it cannot provide the facilities provided by the Indian navy.

If its all about making money then Merchant navy is the better option.
Indian navy provides you respect in the society where as you can't get the same respect for merchant navy.

Indian navy provides you satisfaction for the job where as in Merchant navy you have to work for 6 months in the tough sea's which cannot give you much satisfaction.

i will prefer to go for Indian navy,why because I feel that being the indian, i have to something for my country and that is possible only through Indian Navy.

It totally depends upon interest- whether you want to serve your nation or want good salary. but in my opinion indian navy is much better than merchant navy due to its standard, royality ,fame because money is not everything.

In my point of veiw indian navi are at almost top and merchant navi are just rubbish service is not good in merchant navi

my choice will definitely Indian Navy because for the following reasons

first of all i will get a chance to serve my nation

my life will be settled interms of materialistic life

my status will go high

my living my further siblings will get inspired my position

constant increase in pay will always satisfy me

my children in future will be grown up in a healthy environment

medical facilities will be provided to all my family members

canteen facilities will help to survive

life long pension will be provided to me and also after my death also to my family members

my preference among two goes two indian navy because pay scale is not major in life but doing some thing for our country is major task than others and if are talking about reputation than reputation of indian navy officer is much more than any merchant navy officer.

it depends upon the choice of student- whether he want to earn high salary only or want to do something for his country. merchant navy is well-known for its high salary and indian navy is the symbol of proudness. getting into indian navy is however a difficult task .

Merchant navy or india navy

Indian Navy, because dedicated work can do wonders. It is a very big enterprise, with unlimited resources, and to serve the country is better than anything else.

if you want to really earn lots of money then i think the merchant navy is the best option ,
if you want to just serve the nation and be happy then Indian navy is the place to go for you

indian navy is always better than merchant navy first of all their way of working is not good and moreover indian navy is a government job which is always preferable

See if you join institute for merchant navy you have to pay some where about 2-5 lakhs. Then get trained after that you have to qualify the exam & then you get placed. If you don't qualify exam you are in loss. The best one is join indian navy & study hard for it qualify the exams without giving a large amount & if you get qualified you during training you will be paid and it is also a respectable job. After retirement one get's pension also & one can join merchant navy without investing any money. That's all about indian navy & merchant navy

indian navy...hands down.i mean what in the world except money would make an indian join merchant navy,you dont get the perks,respect,and most importantly the honour of serving a country in a merchant navy.so if a person isnt a currency freak,he will definitely join indian navy.

coz first of all u shld serve ur country bt still if u r keen in increasing ur bank balance den 4 sure go 4 merchant navy.Also I wld tell tht life of people serving in Indian Navy is full of pride,self respect,secure & dignity.

Both are two different things. One is related with serving the nation whereas the other with cargo, import and export. We cannot compare or say which one is better. It wholly depends on a person's interest.
I would choose Indian Navy because I wish to serve India. If we work with dedication, we can protect our motherland from her foes.It is a thing of pride to serve the country. In merchant navy, we have to be away from our family for continuous 6 months on the ship. Though we get high salary, we do not get the inner satisfaction which we get by serving India.

it depends on factor that what will you prefer salary or royalties. if you want a good salary then merchant navy is the good one....... and if royalties is important for you then Indian navy is the better one..........

I ll go with merchant navy because there is no limit of earning the money.

As Far as my Interest is concerned it would like to Prefer Merchant Navy Because A job in Merchant Navy is indeed an alluring option for everyone. Life in the merchant navy can be adventurous for all those with wanderlust. The long periods of solitude notwithstanding, the opportunity to see the world and get paid for it just cannot be argued away.

Because Through Indian navy I can serve for my motherland and its a proud feeling being an Indian citizen.
Indian Navy is a government Grade A officer where a job is guaranteed and have various facilities.
Indian Navy have more adventurous and everyone will respect you.
So, Indian navy is better option.

Well i would prefer indian navy would be the best for me because i want to serve my country.What ever it is being a true citizen is the best.There's a saying also"Ask not what country have done for you,Ask what you have done for the country",therefore i would prefer Indian navy.

both merchant navy and indian navy is reputed jobs today..
merchant navy gives you more exposer and you can earn more money also but there is insecurity of job and there is no pension...
whereas if you are in indian navy there is a proud feeling of being in the indian armed forces and feeling of serving the country...jobs are more decorates and also there is pension and health insurance for you and your family even after retirement....so i suggest to go for india navy and if dont get there then you can try for merchant navy......

well i suggest you that both job are good and responsible so that you should join post for doing your work honestly,responsiblity if you are interested. but i think indian nevvy is better option as compare to other.

Because Indian navy is a government navy, Merchant navy is the private one...

Most of the guys prefer government navy only... Because of job security...

But that is the persons choice...

So i prefer only Indian navy...

even a sweeper serves the country ..so dont say if u want to serve the country u shld join indian navy...indian navy s a military force and the ppl in it get trained wit more military skills....
But in merchant navy its more of technical expertise and survival in rugged conditions...indian navy officers get a better life than those in merchant navy..more respect , and sense of pride...whereas merchant navy gives more money and technical knowledge..both r entirely different and must nt be compared

Indian navy should be preferred. because they are sacrificing their life and for the us... without them we can't be able to lead our life peacefully... they are really equal to god... salute to them ...
