Hello, which entrance exam I have to appear for getting admission in Madras School of Economics for MSc(Quantitative Economics)? I want to secure admission for Post Graduation with this specialization in this institute.

Entrance exam is not available to study MSc(Quantitative Economics) in Madras School of Economics. Admission of candidates are based on the marks obtained in Graduation.
Candidates who have qualified graduation in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of OBC-Non Creamy Layer and 45% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) from any recognized university are eligible to pursue that course.
Candidates must have studied Mathematics as a subject at plus two level in order to be eligible.

The admission to the M.Sc(Quantitative Economics) course in Madras School of Economics is through entrance examination conducted by Central University of Tamil Nadu,Thiruvarur

Entrance examination available to study MA General Economics, Financial Economics, Applied Quantitative Finance, Environmental Economics and Actuarial Economics in Madras School of Economics is the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). Eligible candidates have to clear the CUCET for the admission to study above mentioned Master of Arts courses in the Madras School of Economics. Duration of the MA course is 2 years in the Madras School of Economics.
