My son is a B Com. Graduate He wants to study P.G. He scored only 45% marks. Is he eligible? Can you please let me know the eligibility criteria which is required to do PG course after completion of B.Com? Awaiting for the reply soon!

Graduation is the minimum educational qualification to be eligible for M.Com. The students must satisfy the below criteria to be eligible to apply for M.Com,

- The common requirement for pursuing the M.Com is Bachelor Degree in any discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized university. There is no restriction on the stream in the 12th standard and Graduation. The students with science, commerce or arts background can apply for the M.Com.

- The applicant must be 17 years of age or more. The requisite minimum percentage of marks will differ from college to college.

- The selection will be based on the entrance exam conducted by the respective university.

Eligibility criteria asked for doing M.Com after completion of B.Com :

Candidate must have passed his/her graduation in commerce from any recognised university.
After securing 45%, he is eligible to get admission in M.Com.
Age of candidate must be above 17 years.

Below I have mentioned the basic eligibility criteria in order to pursue M.Com course, Kindly have a look at it.

> Candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in order to be eligible to get admission in M.Com course.

Therefore, as you son has not scored a atleast 55% in his graduation, therefore, I am sorry to say that he is not eligible to do pursue M.Com any more .
