What is the percentage criteria required in graduation or post graduation for CDS exam?
How much percentage required to get eligible for cds exam in both graduation n post graduation separately? Can someone please provide me the details on the same? What is the procedure followed to apply for the exam? Awaiting for the response soon.

The candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in Graduation degree for open category to appear for CDS exam. There is relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category candidates. The candidate should not have any backlogs in their academic years of qualification.
UPSC conducts CDS(Combined Defense Services) exam every year for recruitment of defense personnel. Eligibility criteria for CDS exam are as under:- -Academic qualification : IMA/ OTA - Graduation in any discipline. Indian Naval Academy - Bachelor of Engineering. Indian Air Force Academy - 10+2 level degree with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering. -Age limit : Indian Military Academy (IMA) - 19 years to 24 years Indian Naval Academy -19 years to 22 years Indian Air Force Academy -19 years to 23 years Officer's Training Academy (OTA) -19 years to 25 years |

No percentage criteria in Graduation or Post Graduation is required to appear in CDS examination. Candidates who have completed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to appear in CDS examination. Eligibility criteria required to appear in CDS examination is mentioned below :-
1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. Educational Qualification :- --> For Indian Military Academy (IMA) :- You must have completed Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university. --> For Indian Naval Academy :- You must have completed Graduation degree in Engineering from a recognised university. --> Indian Air Force Academy :- You must have completed Graduation degree from a recognised university with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. 3. Age Limit :- --> Indian Military Academy :- 19-24 years --> Naval Academy :- 19-22 years --> Air Force Academy :- 19-24 years 4. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate to join in Indian Military Academy or Naval Academy. 5. You must be Physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the UPSC CDS examination notification. |

In order to appear for CDS examination candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% in aggregate.
To apply for the course you will have to visit the official website and fill up the application form online by providing the required details and other information asked for. After submitting the application you will receive an e-mail regarding the date and venue of the examination. |
