Re: Am i eligible for TRB and SLET after Undergraduation in Physics?
Below, I have mentioned the eligibility criteria, kindly have a look at it;
Eligibility for NET/SLET/TRB examination: 1. The basic eligibility for appearing in NET/SLET examination is that the candidate should have a Masters degree or equivalent in related subjects from a recognized University. 2. Aspirants must have obtained a minimum of 55% in PG. 3. Aspirants appearing or have appeared for final year exams are also eligible. 4. Aspirants should have pursued their course as specified by UGC. 5. Candidates who have qualified the SET exam are also eligible to appear for this examination. |

Re: Am i eligible for TRB and SLET after Undergraduation in Physics?
TRB stands for Teacher Recruitment Board and SLET stands for State Level Eligibility Test to recruit at post of teacher.
TRB and SLET are the examination equivalent to NET(National Eligibility Test). The only difference between them is that NET is conducted at Central Government and SLET and TRB are conducted by state government. Both the examinations are conducted to recruit candidates at the post of Assistant professor or lecturer. Eligibility criteria to appear in the examination are -Candidate must have completed Master's degree in any disciple from a university recognized by UGC and with minimum of 45% marks. -Candidate appearing in final semester of Master's degree program is also eligible to appear in the examination. -Also, it is compulsory that the candidate must have studied same subject in Bachelor's as well as in Master's. So, you need to complete Master's in Physics only to be eligible to appear in the examination you mentioned above. |
