I want to be a Nursery teacher. But i don't know what should i study for becoming one. Please tell me about the minimum qualification required for the job?

Educational Qualification required for a Nursery Teacher Post:

You are required to undergo training (Diploma in Pre and Primary Techers) Training course in order to become a Nursery Teacher. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for becoming Nursery Teacher post is "12th Class" or Higher Secondary qualification in 10+2 pattern from a recognized university. After successful completion of 12th Class, I suggest you to undergo training for Diploma in Pre and Primary Teachers Training course which lasts about 8 months. After successful completion of this Diploma course, then I am sure you are certainly eligible to become Nursery Teacher with the above mentioned qualification.

There is nursery teacher training and junior basic training like courses available for those who want to become a nursery teacher. In UP there is BTC which is called basic teacher training course for primary school teachers.

Hence, it will depend on the state to which you belong. You need to complete the training courses first to become eligible for job. Some private schools may give your job on the basis of interview also but it will depend on reference.

To work as a nursery teacher all you want is your sslc and basic subject knowledge about English,and your mother tongue to read write and to speak.
After that you can request for this job .
Minimum qualification is sslc or more.
You should know better rhyms and short stories to make children interested to learn new things.
Be patient and lovable to childrens.
Care the children as the same of yours.
Approch the child with a smile.

I am undergratuate and i am a teacher in CBSE school and montessori course also done can i eligilable for this job
